2010 budget
14th - 18th December 2009The EU's 2010 budget will be adopted on Thursday. At the first reading in October, the European Parliament voted for a budget of €127.5bn whilst the Council of Ministers proposed €120.5bn. Following negotiations, the final figure expected to be adopted will be just under €123bn. ECR budgets coordinator Lajos Bokros is satisfied that the final budget agreed upon better reflects the position of the ECR group.
