Ashton - priorities for UN Human Rights Council

22nd to 28th February 2009 - Brussels

High Representative Catherine Ashton will outline her priorities and listen to Members' views on the forthcoming UN Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva. Charles Tannock will respond for the ECR Group.

Baroness Ashton will also make a statement on the implementation of the Goldstone recommendations on Israel/Palestine. ECR MEP Peter Van Dalen will speak in the debate.
