Cross-border healthcare

The Council is expected to reach political agreement on a proposal for a directive on cross border healthcare, which would facilitate patients who decided to seek healthcare in another EU member state. The directive was championed by former Conservative MEP John Bowis, and ECR health spokesman Miroslav Ouzky will support its adoption.
