EU summit

8th - 12th February 2010 - Strasbourg

At the end of the week, Heads of State and Government will hold an informal summit to discuss the EU's role in rebuilding Europe's economies after the crisis. ECR economic affairs coordinator Kay Swinburne will call for the EU to support Europe's recovery by ensuring that financial services legislation is proportionate, whilst Malcolm Harbour, ECR chairman of the internal market committee, will argue that a vital tool for boosting economic performance will be a fully-functioning single market.
