EU-Ukraine summit
30th November - 4th December 2009The ECR will hold its bureau meeting in Ukraine on Tuesday. Meetings are scheduled with President Yushchenko and a number of senior ministers and parliamentarians.
The ECR visit comes ahead of the annual EU-Ukraine summit on Friday. Discussions over an 'association agreement' are expected to dominate the talks and ECR chairman Michal Kaminski will call for such an agreement to pave the way to eventual Ukrainian membership of the EU.
