Financial transaction tax

8th to 12th March 2010 - Strasbourg

On Monday there will be a debate on a European tax on financial transactions. ECR economic spokesman Kay Swinburne will argue that the EU should not have tax raising powers, and that the measure would once again reduce the competitiveness and raise the cost of capital to businesses.
