Hearing on aquaculture

22nd to 28th February 2009 - Brussels

A public hearing on "A sustainable future for European aquaculture" will be held on Tuesday. Several guests have been invited to express their views about a sector which has experienced considerable growth. In a world where fishing resources are becoming scarce and where the world demand for fish and seafood products keeps growing, aquaculture is gaining more and more importance for the EU.
