Iraq

18th to 22nd January 2010, Strasbourg

ECR chairman of the parliament's Iraq delegation, Struan Stevenson, will express concern at the security situation in Iraq during a debate on Tuesday. He will call for united action to ensure that Iran and pro-Iranian factions within Iraq are not allowed to disrupt the forthcoming elections or influence their outcome.
