Madeleine Albright

25th - 29th January 2010 - Brussels

The group of experts in charge of reviewing NATO's Strategic Concept, which is chaired by former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, will be holding an exchange of views with the Foreign Affairs committee and the Security and Defence sub-committee. ECR coordinators in the committees, Charles Tannock and Geoffrey Van Orden will both call for the strengthening and renewal of NATO. They will also stress that NATO must remain the cornerstone of European collective defence.
