Maternity leave

MEPs in the women's committee will debate a new report on a directive setting minimum levels of maternity leave across the EU to 18 weeks. ECR women's spokesman Marina Yannakoudakis will argue against overly prescriptive EU-wide rules that could actually harm a woman's right to choose and her ability to take flexible maternity leave.
