Online gambling

Malcolm Harbour, chairman of the internal market committee, will ask the commission to clarify the state of play in online gambling following recent conflicting rulings of the European Court of Justice. One ruling said that governments could restrict online gaming in their country, whilst the other suggested that national legislation is only necessary if done consistently across the EU.
