6th - 10th September 2010 - StrasbourgThe commission will open a debate on the expulsion of Roma from France.
ECR justice and home affairs coordinator Timothy Kirkhope MEP will argue that the matter is currently a legal and treaty issue and therefore it is for the commission, as guardian of the EU treaties, to pass a formal legal judgment before political conclusions are reached.
