WTO debate
14th - 18th December 2009The parliament will hold a debate and vote on a resolution regarding the Doha Development Agenda following the ad-hoc delegation to the WTO public forum in Geneva. The ECR group's trade coordinator, Robert Sturdy, has co-tabled a resolution calling on WTO members to actively fight protectionism and supporting the conclusion of the round, which requires EU leadership. ECR Vice-President Jan Zahradil will speak in the debate.
